Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s ongoing divorce has taken many twists and turns. The highly-publicised is now nearing its end and almost after 6 months, the question arises about the tension as they struggle to finalise details.
Ben Affleck and J. Lo’s divorce delayed
As per reports, Ben has been spending more time with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while avoiding his ex at all costs. There has also been an added drama to their complicated co-parenting scene as they both strive to transition for their blended families.
On the second anniversary of the couple’s marriage, the Jenny From the Block singer filed for divorce without a lawyer. Despite their efforts to appear amicable, the two have mostly been spending time apart ever since and are rarely spotted together.
A source stated In Touch that it all began when into an “increasingly tense and argumentative,” with Affleck as he is spending more time with his ex-wife rather than focusing on the ongoing divorce. On the other hand, Jlo has been “sidelined and frustrated and he should meet her demands and remain fair in the process. She has been encouraging Ben to prioritise their blended family scene.
As per Hindustan Times sources, “She’s worth more than twice as much as him so it’s especially hard for him not to see this as her being vindictive and greedy. “They both say they’re desperate to avoid more drama, but the longer this drags on, the worse it’s going to get.”
JLO demands Affleck spend more time over co-parenting
Their struggle to finalise their divorce seems inevitable, as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have differences in views about co-parenting. Affleck and JLo share five children in total, including Affleck’s three with Garner: Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, and Lopez’s twins Max and Emme from her marriage to Marc Anthony.
The ex-couples were recently seen spending time with their separate families at school functions and family outings, despite the fact that they are no longer romantically engaged.
